As far as the glitch goes... what have you done so far to try and narrow
down

its cause ? you need to try and define where the signal is getting into
the system


..... I assume you mean its a regular signal spike 

..... is it large ?   how many data points ?

..... is it still there when the preamp is disconnected from the ADC
?

..... is it still there when the seismometer cable is disconnected from
the pre-amp ?
