When you refer to the big glitch at the beginning of the hour in AmaSeis I
suspect you will find it caused by an offset in your zero level.  If you
turn off all helicorder filtering under settings/helicorder you will see the
data does not fall on the lines.  When a filter is set the record will
center on the display as the step is filtered out over the length of the
filter.  Thus the long period filters take a longer time to settle.
