howuch energy will be returned to pursue the the development
of energy when the usage is like related to entropy
and the population increase is like so many lemmings.

until you get control of the ever increasing population
fracking is inevitable/unavoidable and it may already be
too late to properly satisfy this already too long
overpopulated earth.

thanks to the fact that man is not as intelligent as he
thought he was since he is unable to self control his own numbers.

geothermal is the next best thing to nuclear power.

develop yellowstone geothermically and possibly stop a big eruption
in it tracks. or at least reduce world population by trying.

it is most possibly too late in the equation to do anything meaningful.
