Maybe you did not understood what the video said.
My fault, subtitles could be not so well explaining.
In 2008 Prof. Boschi called to say something of reassurance to the
citizens of Mirandola (Emilia) where concerned of project for natural
gas storage underground.
In that date he said that ALL area was studied and checked for potential
ground acceleration and soil amplification.
These data are worldwide much more reliable and not subjected to
interpretation. As you know they are related to elastomechanic
modelization and easily calculated knowing the soil profiles and structures.
There are tenths of method to carefully extimate the modelization
parameters of soil.
He said all measurment was made and no danger was expected for that area
EVEN IF A MAJOR QUAKE WOULD OCCUR.
In 2012 (current year, last may) an earthquake stroke the area making
collapse thousands of houses and wahreahouse with more than 10 deaths.
So in this case it is quite suspicious a bad case of economical
interests which drives scientific interpretations.
Near the end the original italian video you can see an italian
journalist interviewing by phone prof. Boschi, AFTER the quake (after
2012) which repeat for the same question evasive and embarassed sounds...
Are you a scientist. You must be honest for yourself, for people and for
science.
Religion has nothing to do with it.
