One of the more interesting websites.

But I see the gravity affecting the ocean
making it be something like a break or a snubber pad
lightly squeezing the Earth and thus
slowing it down by the forces (maybe frictional)
only on its surface. Its kind of an indirect thing
from my point of view.
In slowing from the surface this liquid core being then the
only connection to slow down the core.
The earth slows and the moon speeds up thus
energy is conserved except for heat loss
by entropy which is energy lost forever from the
equation due to friction of whatever kind.
BTW, a snubber keeps a missile/rocket in place (Asroc)
it is a series of break pad like things squeezing
the rocket to keep it in place should the rocket
motor accidentally ignite. A rocket is unguided (laws of physics only) after
motor ignition. A missile is guided (computer program or the hand of man)
after motor ignition.
In any case, I do not see the core affected as much by
the moons gravity in this way.
Did you want me to create an account and
discuss on that web site ??

The torque caused by this HAND OF GOD so to speak upon
the earth might possibly be the STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMELS BACK
in the creation of an earthquake trigger mechanism.
We are speaking of unimaginable mass here (Mother Earth), only ever so
slight
acceleration can cause interesting things to happen within the nonuniform
mass itself.

geoff

It is by the Entropy, That I set my mind in Motion.
Entropy is the seeking of equilibrium.
It is by the Entropy that, I set my mind in motion.
