YES, but, Is that steep cliff at the coast of Oregon along Highway 1 to
the west at the ocean
is that cliff an Earthquake SCARP ??
Its like vertical and a couple hundred feet high ??
These things have been known to instantly form
in front of people (but not that big) such as a
jeep driving on a dirt road during an Earthquake.
A simple yes or no will be more appropriate for myself to understand.

Regards,
geoff

To the west of the coast of Oregon is the Juan de Fuca plate, which is actually a remnant of the Farallon plate, subducting to the east and moving under the North American Plate. The subduction zone between the two plates is the Juan de Fuca subduction zone. The Farallon plate no longer exists.
