I have mixed feelings about their new site. It's not as quick to get what you 
want but it seems like it may be more powerful. I haven't looked at all the 
variables yet.

The old EQ links doesnt work any more.

But USGS is still giving the old link system in their RSS:
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/catalogs/eqs1day-M2.5.xml
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/catalogs/7day-M5.xml


I hope they fix this soon, a lot of websites use USGS RSS to load EQ data.
