Hi Barry,

I assume you mean a 2 Ghz processor, Windows would not run on a 2 Mhz CPU very well 
if at all. If you are setting up a system that will only be used for datalogging a ~2 
Ghz or faster CPU will be fine. Since you will be generating a lot of GIF image you 
will need a few GB of RAM memory and a fast reliable hard drive. If you use Windows 7 
or Vista you should turn off UAC, see
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/4820/how-to-really-completely-disable-uac-on-windows-7/ for 
more information, and log into the system as a administrator.
