This is for Randy and anyone else working in the area of tornado 
detection on earthquake instruments. There is a technique being used to 
detect tectonic tremors. It was the source of several seminars at Menlo 
Park in the passed year. It compares background noise to small 
earthquake signatures using multiple detecting sites and specific 
frequencies searches. I really think the process could be used to detect 
tornadoes as well. It is math oriented (intensive) and uses computers 
extensively. By nature of our data collection we have the before, the 
now and the after. Supposedly any statistician could set up the math for 
you. It might work.
