interesting, yet, i believe it might be better to
somehow scan the horizon like radar with some
kind of laser which can detect major, yet small,
disturbances within the atmospheres index of refraction.
if you look at zoomed in closeups of a tornado
you can easily see shimmering caused by such disturbance
it is most probably caused by turbulence in air density
as well as velocity ???i mean, one laser device
instead of many seismic devices for any given town.
