Hi Everyone,

Over the past month and a half I have been working on replacing my old Windows 2003 
Server with a Linux Ubuntu 12.04 system. I am making the change to Linux so I do not 
have to pay Microsoft any money to upgrade my server. The system has been running 
fine for almost 10 years with just one hardware change a few years ago. Despite the 
system working just fine I though it was time to update my server to something newer. 
For the web server I am using Apache2, the email server is Postfix and the mail list 
server is Mailman.

Last Friday I moved web access (http/port80) over to the new system. And in a few 
hours I will be moving email, including this list, over to the new system. Once I 
make the change I will be updating this page http://www.seismicnet.com/maillist.html 
with new information on how to subscribe or unsubscribe from the PsnList, NewFile and 
NewEvent mailing lists.

After I send out this email message I will shutdown the mail server on the Windows 
2003 system and move the list members over to the new system. Once I make the move I 
will send out another email announcing that the move has been completed. There is 
nothing you need to do to remain a member of the lists I am currently hosting.

I do have one request. If you see any problems with the Redwood City PSN web site 
(www.seismicnet.com) please send me a private email so I can fix it.
