Just joined the e-mail net and got my first messages.  Becoming
interested in seismic measurements - again.  Several years ago a friend
and I both made swinging gates and we experimented with various detection
methods but we never followed up on project.  He recently purchased a
surplus 10 Hz geophone and has tinkered with it some.

Anyone using lasers for detection - if so, how?

I am also a ham radio operator.  Are there any ham nets devoted to
seismic work?  Would be interested to hear. Thanks...
