Thanks for the references to the ring magnets and metal lead
disks from McMaster-Carr.  The disks would really simply
and expedite seismos suitable for them, with their mounting
holes.

I note the ring magnets are of the machineable epoxy bonded
type.  Supposedly easy to machine, but new too me.

I don't think your coil winding procedure and/or machinery
has been brought up in any kind of detail yet.  Any possiblity
of such?

You mentioned another "new instrument development".  How
about afew scavenger scraps of info...like is it a vertical or
horizontal, possible period, size etc....pretty please.....ha.   Of
course a web photo would be delightful to see, even if its still
in the developmental stage.
