Readme for Passthru.exe This program is used to send the GPS Pass Through command to the Serial Output A/D board. After receiving this command, the A/D board will send all serial data from the GPS port to the Comm port and all data from the Comm port to the GPS port. In this mode, programs like WinPlotGPS can send and receive data to and from the GPS receiver. Passthur.exe is a 32-Bit Command line program. To run the program open a DOS box, locate the program, and then type the program name. You will be asked for the computer Comm port, BAUD rate and receiver type. The BAUD rate is usually set to 38400. If you have changed the A/D board BAUD rate in WinSDR, you will need to use that BAUD rate setting. The A/D board supports two GPS receivers. You can specify either the Motorola ONCORE or Garmin GPS 16 receiver. After entering the information, the program will initialize the A/D board and GPS receiver so that it can be placed in the pass through mode.
