Hello Jan,
I'm new to all this but will comment anyway,
First my experience with the 16 bit serial A/D and WinSDR has been
great. But there have been a few unexpected results.
I think they may relate to my using a old 200 Mhz cpu and trying to do
everything WinSDR can do and at the same time log two channels at 100
S/sec.
When I back off on the features, the two channel logging works great.
The replay feature with filter settings works great.
When I have had a problem with WinSDR, I just quit and restart. Usually
everything is ok after that.
I'm sure Larry would like a report of 'documented problems'. If Larry
was in front of my PC, he would know what was going on. So we need to
forward accurate info that he can use to debug.
I know I have a slow old PC and will assume my problems are in my lab.
What is your WinSDR system cpu speed?
Sometimes I wait a few seconds and everything recovers ok on its own.
That's why I think I have a cpu speed limitation.
By the way I got my system up in running just in time to bag the CA
Gulf, Reykjaes Ridge, Sumbawa Indonesia events and some others. I'm
still working on some other events to match them to the USGS list.
The FFT and filters are really fun to experiment with.
Will figure out the upload features so I can join in with the new events
listings.
Best Regards,
Gary
