Hi Larry, Yes, I forgot to mention that WinSDR and WinQuake are on the
same machine. The "E" drive is on the WinSDR (winquake) machine, nothing
is networked on this system. Winquake puts the "RQxxxxx.sy1" file in the
WinSDR allocated directory then it times out and erases the file. I made
a copy of the WinQuake request file then placed it into the WinSDR request
directory. Noting happens. No erasure of the file. I'll repeat this test
on a WinNT machine is about 12 hours, maybe its the Win95 system?

Also be accident, I found if in WinSDR, with 2 channels -> settings -> X-scale = 1
Lines / Chan = 2, redraw lines = 1. and you change, say the X-scale the press
the (ok) button then, the screen will redraw once then the trace goes to the
left side of the screen and stays their. It doesn't redraw but the data is logged.

Also if you open up a redraw window and play around in this condition then close
the redraw window a small red line appears at the bottom of the trace screen.
see attached image.

By the way, your siren when the serial card is disconnected, certainly
gets you attention. I had the speaker volume turned up, nearly fell out
of my chair.

Cheers

Arie
