I released a new WinSDR version today. The version number is 1.7. Here's
what's new in this release.
When you restart WinSDR it will display old data saved in the daily record
files. This way you don't have to wait for the screen to fill up with data.
Also new is how the program generates GIF file images. GIF file creation is
no longer part of the real-time window. In the GIF file settings dialog box
you can set the image size, number of lines, save rate interval etc. In this
dialog box you will see a button called "Create HTML File". When you press
this button, the program will create a file called CURRENT.HTML. This file
will be located in the WinSDR root directory. In the file is HTML code to
tell a web browser to display the gif file images created by WinSDR. The web
page will refresh at the save time interval. To view the web page you can
use the View / View GIF File Images menu items. This will use the
PSNExplorer Web browser program that is included with the WinSDR software
package. You can also use your regular Web browser by entering the directory
and file name as the URL.
I think I also fixed the problem Karl just reported regarding starting the
program in the minimized state.
