I just want to comment LOL,

These people sound like true scientist.

They consider their instrumentation to be
one of the family.

Since transport of scientific equipment is questionable
in how it will be handled it is best to transport it yourself
to be sure it is not damaged in transit.

Even tho i think it funny, it still makes sense to me.

Especially for rare equipment like is seismic equipment.

I hope it finds a good quiet home where it will be treated with TLC.
